September is the time, Kihei is the place. I've never been outside the airport in Hawaii (and that was the big island, not Maui) so it should be absolutely fabulous! Go Hod!! I guess this means it's getting serious?? I hope you're staying in South Kihei. North Kihei is usually VERY windy, and if you have the bad luck to be there during the two times a year that they burn the sugar cane fields, the wind brings the smoke right down on on N. Kihei. Let me know if you want info on Maui--been there multiple times. Dad
Dad is great, he always manages to mix good & bad :-) I know it will be fabulous no matter what, just getting away is a joy in itself. Brigitte & I had a great time, we drove North (?) along the coast and whale satched for a bout an hour, it was unforgetable. :-)
