Weekly Update

Let's see if I can keep this up - sort of a long tweet I suppose...

Currently (before I logged on here), knitting scarf that I started last March with Tante Brigitte & Mom. Still not close to being done. I like hats better most definitely. I've promised myself that I will finish this scarf before I start another knitting project. Next up, purple socks.

Last Sunday I planted some Swiss chard and a variety of lettuces. Very excited to see that they are all growing nicely and that I didn't kill them in the planting. Can't wait for the first harvest! Tomato plant is sad. Not quite sure what is killing off the leaves slowly but it is still putting out fruit and flowers so I guess it isn't all bad. We'll see how it goes.

Played frisbee golf today. It always takes a few hours and seems to take more out of me than I think it should. Lots o' fun though! Made a small investment in a real golf disc from Play It Again Sports. I am still terrible at driving but it putts quite well so that makes me happy.

Have yet to download Vegas pics. Will try to do that tomorrow or Monday. Thinking of going to see the tulips but it is a long drive to do something I've done several times before. I like the take on activities my co-worker, Linda, has adopted recently. Don't repeat outings. There are too many things to see in the world in one lifetime to spend them going to one place all the time. Now I don't mean to take this literally and never repeat a trip but I think it makes sense for the bigger vacations. Will try to implement and actually go on vacation regularly. Would be easier if traveling were cheaper (or I were independently wealthy, sigh).

As the weather is not cooperating fully I have decided to enjoy some spring/summery clothes while indoors. Wearing fun paisley sun dress now. Under a blanket. :)
